I created DogThreads because of my love for needle, thread, and my dog.  I grew up in my mother's sewing room - under her ironing board, reading books to her or playing Barbies - as the youngest child.  She sewed for me my entire life and only stopped when she started sewing for my daughters.  It was inevitable that I learned to sew and eventually embroidery came into my life.  Enter Petunia.  My Papillon.  She is my pandemic puppy and one that needs to be clothed properly!!   Dog, meet clothing; needle, meet thread.  I knew that embroidery had such versatility and application that a custom dog/human apparel business was a great fit!
